Exercise Physiology and DVA
The Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA) is an Australian government branch that supports veterans, their dependents, serving and former ADF members, war widows/widowers, members of the Australian Federal Police, and more. The DVA’s mission is to help these individuals and their families return to the activities they enjoy by providing the care they need. As Exercise Physiologists, we assist with rehabilitation and health management—particularly for chronic conditions—through clinical exercise prescription, physical activity education, and behavior modification.
